What started out as a fun hobby previewing houses on weekends, led to a passion for helping others find their dream homes. Kay became a licensed real estate professional in 2003 and has never looked back. Rest assured, when you work with Kay in the purchase or sale of a property you will feel like her only client. Kay’s background as a Project Manager (PMP) provided her with the attention-to-detail and diligent follow-up needed to see a transaction through to closing. A consistent top producer, Kay’s experience includes working with luxury homes, new construction, investment and resale homes.
Kay is continually staying up to date on the market and continuing her education and has received the following designations. Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI), Accredited Staging Professional (ASP), Sellers Representative Specialist (SRS) & Seniors Representative Specialist (SRES) to name a few. Using her ASP designation, she sets herself apart from others by staging each listing before going live. Listings that are staged sell 95% faster in approximately 29 days or less.
Complementing Kay’s busy real estate career is her involvement in the community. In the past, she was heavily involved with the American Cancer SocietychairingtheCattleBaron’sBallforseveralyears. ThispastyearKay rallied the entire community to build a home for a wounded veteran for the Gary Sinise Foundation (GSF), R.I.S.E. program for a deserving family. Her efforts raised over $455,000 for the home build and won her not only the “Good Neighbor Award“for her local board of Realtors but also the “Good Neighbor Award” for the Georgia Association of Realtors. Kay also received the “Above and Beyond” award from the Gary Sinise Foundation.
Using her knowledge with new construction and her staging skills, Kay was able to assist the family with every aspect of building their forever home. From finding the perfect lot to assisting with designing the home, to
making selections throughout the home. She was even given the honor of decorating/staging the GSF home in Fayette County from top to bottom. Kay states “It was a whirlwind. I had 3 days to have the home camera-ready. I was living on adrenalin for those 3 days. My goal was to decorate the home for the family and to cater to each family member’s needs, style and personality. I wanted them to feel totally at home as soon as they walked through the front door.” Kay adds, “I think it went well.”
A Georgia resident for more than 25 years, Kay appreciates the many advantages of living in the Peach State. Highlighting a pleasant year-round climate is a scenic landscape punctuated with rolling hills and colorful foliage. Recognized among the Top 5 places to retire, Georgia is equally attractive to families and offers an exceptional quality of life. Thanks to a thriving film industry, the area is also known as the “Hollywood of the South.”
