American Caribbean Real Estate – Middle & Lower Keys Builds Upon Its Successes

By Susan B. Barnes

Ginger Henderson began her real estate career 40 years ago, following in her mother’s footsteps and joining her at one of the original local brokerages in the Keys. In 1982 Ginger and her mother would strike out on their own, opening American Caribbean Real Estate – Middle Keys. Since that time an office dedicated exclusively to servicing the needs of the Lower Keys market was opened in Ramrod Key, making the company American Caribbean Real Estate – Middle & Lower Keys.

Ginger’s innovation and passion for real estate have allowed her to build trusting relationships with her clients and establish American Caribbean Real Estate – Middle & Lower Keys as one of the most successful real estate companies in the marketplace. Over the past ten years, her enterprise has sold more homes priced at $1 million or more than any other real estate office in the Keys.

“To gain trust, you must know your product and your market better than anyone else. This requires continuous market studies to spot trends on the rise. The market is not a stagnant entity, but is in a constant state of change,” explains Ginger. “No two transactions are the same, just as the people involved are all unique.”

Her commitment to her clients is equally evident in her vigilance for her agents. Ginger considers herself fortunate to be surrounded by such an ambitious and capable team. She constantly provides mentoring, training and state-of-the-art technology to her agents to support them in their individual successes.

“Our newly-constructed offices in Marathon (and our soon-to-be-built new offices in Big Pine) are beautiful and provide a work environment that promotes creativity, privacy for our clients and team cooperation,” says Ginger.

American Caribbean Real Estate – Middle & Lower Keys services the entire scope of the Florida Keys, from Key Largo to Key West. While the company services the entire Florida Keys markets, their primary focus is the Middle and Lower Keys, which covers more than 60 islands. They handle all facets of real estate including residential homes, vacant land, commercial properties, development properties and vacation rentals.

“Whether you are looking for a quaint Conch Cottage or a lavish Keys Castle, we are here for you,” says Ginger.
