The futuristic Jetsons family who drove around in flying cars may not have been too far off. In fact, developer of PARAMOUNT Miami Worldcenter, Dan Kodsi, is willing to bank on it. Complete with a Skyport designed for flying cars, the PARAMOUNT Worldcenter in Miami, Florida is set to open this Spring and is already more than 75 percent sold. The luxury condominium high-rise is comprised of 500 units ranging from 1,180 to 2,350 square feet, each with city and bay views. Boca Raton, Florida

With humble origins of pineapple farms, today’s Boca Raton, known to more than 200,000 residents, has made great strides over the past millennium. The earliest cataloged history of Boca Raton, Florida noted its beginnings as a Tequesta Indian settlement. It wasn’t until the construction of the Florida East Coast Canal, which is today’s Intracoastal, as well as the Florida East Coast Railway in the 1890s, that Boca began to boom. The newly-developed accessibility brought pioneers to the area in the early 1900s who created a small agricultural community. The West’s Most Western Town

Initially purchased as farmland and developed by its namesake, Scottsdale, Arizona originated from 640 acres of irrigated desert terrain. Winfield Scott, a notable U.S. Army Chaplain, envisioned a city of wealth and affluence when he placed a down payment on the property that would later become downtown Scottsdale. Scott enlisted many of the settlement’s first inhabitants, who were an educated and cultured people. Development of the scenic location was quickly underway shortly after its 1888 acquisition. Only eight years later a public school system was chartered. In the early 1900s a culture of artistry flourished as the newly established community celebrated local writers and creatives. Soon after, a tourism industry burgeoned with the erection of the colony’s first resorts: the Ingleside Inn in 1909 and the Jokake Inn in 1922. Continue reading
