duPont REGISTRY A Buyers Gallery of Fine Homes November 2019 Uncovered

Dear Readers,

It is difficult to believe that we are already going to press with the November issue. It seems like just days ago that I was wishing you a happy new year. Maybe where you are the leaves have started to change and the tell-tale signs of Winter are approaching. Here in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida we have 3 basic seasons; Hot, Hurricane and Christmas. For some of you, the seasons may be observed by the beginning or ending of your favorite sport. For all of us though, we recognize this time of year as a season of thanksgiving. It is a great time to tell someone what they have meant to your life, either personally or professionally. With that in mind, it is appropriate to thank not only our advertising partners, but as importantly, you, our loyal readers. It is because of you that we have been able to pursue our passion to showcase the luxury lifestyle to the world for over twenty-three years with this publication. Thank you all.

Osprey Beach

When a New York City family of six needed an escape from the nonstop pace of Manhattan life, there was no better option than Kiawah Island. With nearly 800 miles between the two places, the distance provided a breather while the Island’s immeasurable beauty provided the calm. Continue reading

duPont REGISTRY A Buyers Gallery of Fine Homes October 2019 Uncovered

As I sit to write this, there is a lot of activity – even more than usual – in our offices. We are in the midst of a very busy event season for both the automotive and the homes divisions. We have a team leaving for Pebble Beach to attend the most well-known and respected Concours in the auto enthusiast “world.” We are also getting ready to send our marketing teams to several luxury real estate events including the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Summit September 15-17, Who’s Who Luxury Real Estate September 25-27 and Leaders in Luxury – The Institute October 27-30. So, you can certainly imagine the reason for the flurry of activity here. But not to worry, our team has still had time to assemble a fantastic group of properties for you in this issue.

There are some great luxury properties available on the market right now and we have the opportunity to showcase a few of them this month inside the pages of this issue.

duPont REGISTRY A Buyers Gallery of Fine Homes August 2019 Uncovered

It’s been 24 years since we launched our Luxury Homes magazine, adding it to our portfolio of offerings. Over these last 24 years, trends have changed; the financial market has risen, dropped and risen again; Presidents have come and gone and residential neighborhoods have continued to expand in areas surrounding major metropolitan markets. One thing has remained consistent (albeit expanded) – our ability to reach a targeted demographic of affluent, wealthy individuals with not only our print publications but now also with our rapidly growing digital, social and event-driven footprints.

It’s amazing how quickly time flies. It seems like just yesterday we were sharing winter getaway ideas, wearing coats and sweaters and even experiencing shortened daylight hours. Now, many of us are preparing for summer vacations and the long, hot, lazy days of summer. This time of year, although typically a time for a more relaxed state of mind, can be a great time to consider adding to your real estate portfolio.

The luxury real estate market is exploding. Over the last two years, there has been an increase in luxury sales in many major markets and the expectation is that 2019 will be more of the same positive growth. Now is a perfect time to consider making a move – the luxury market is robust in so many areas.

One market that continues to see an increase in popularity is the West Coast of Florida. With its endless supply of warm weather, great beaches, waterfront properties and lack of state income taxes, it’s no wonder that this area is often top on the list for folks looking to purchase second or third homes as well as those looking for a change of lifestyle and, therefore, wanting to call this area home.
