Reports claim a typical amount of time for a person to purchase within a community is more than two years from their first visit. Now, buyers are acting within the first weeks and months. People feel safer buying and living within private communities rather than those that are frequented by the public. Golf course communities with restricted access, such as those on private islands, are even more appealing. The exclusivity and additional free time has encouraged people to purchase and play now, more than ever. Rounds have increased, as well as the number and demographic of players. Where communities were typically seeing just the husbands semi-regularly, now the whole family comes out for a round as
often as every day.
