Rancho Del Cielos

Rancho Del Cielos was designed by Chilean architect, Carlos Milovic Garcia, selected because of his vision that architecture was not a shield, but rather a transition to nature.

This 10-acre mountaintop property is populated with many huge rocks and the residence design weaves the components of the house through the rocks, resulting in an intellectually lucid, integrated design incorporating some rocks as walls for the house and spa. “This home must have its own unique form; its beauty emergent from its consonance with nature.”

This three-bedroom, three-bath, 360-degree mountaintop home, with its seven integrated patios and four balconies, provides relaxing areas at any time of day.

Artfully conceived artisan standards were considered throughout, including old growth hickory floors, handmade high grown pine doors, beams and other architectural details. The kitchen was recently remodeled using Sub Zero, Dacor and Miele appliances, hickory cabinetry, stainless steel countertops and custom copper bar and island tops.

Landscaping includes family fruit trees, vegetable gardens and hundreds of decorative cycads and cactus from South America and Africa. Most of the vegetation is drought-tolerant, the rest is irrigated with drip systems with programmable controllers. The main exterior and private retreat areas are paved with natural exotic Brazilian stone.

Privacy and security were high priorities. A six-foot wall runs approximately 150 feet across the west side. The private street and access to the residence are controlled by two gates. The residence has 14 video cameras operating 24/7, which are viewable from two video screens as well as authorized iPhones and computers. The wired security system is installed with window, door and motion sensors, including three control panels. The security system connects via landline with a wireless backup.

The house has a total home water purification system, CAT 5 cable throughout and a Generac backup AC generator system.

Sky Mesa Ranch is a gated community located in California’s high desert, midway between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, and North of San Diego. Properties consist of five to ten acres each and the community is protected by two gates that are accessed by cards, key fobs and telephones. The 17 community video cameras record 24/7 and a security service patrols at random times 24/7.

Property offered at $2,700,000
